Silas Wright Jr. (May 24, 1795 – August 27, 1847) was an American attorney and Democratic politician. A member of the Albany Regency, he served as a member of the United States House of Representatives, New York State Comptroller, United States Senator, and the 14th Governor of New York State.
Admission is free to the Silas Wright House & Museum!

Parking
The Museum has parking located behind the Silas Wright House and adjacent to the Red Barn Addition. The parking lot entrance is from East Main Street to the left of the Silas Wright House. The main entrance to the Museum is through the Red Barn Addition.
