Experience Anne’s mid-summer garden in full bloom, a highlight of which is her stunning collection of daylilies.
Her gardens incorporate natural and found elements, such as stones and branches relocated from other areas of her extensive property, which are used for decoration and as edging materials for her garden beds. She will also discuss creating and maintaining wildlife habitat, mixing herbaceous perennials and woody shrubs, and combining native and non-native plants, including some historic and medicinal varieties.
The tour will take place on garden paths, in Anne’s driveway, and on her lawn. Although no special clothing is required, we do encourage participants to dress appropriately for outdoor evening activities. Bug spray is also recommended. Most spaces are walker-friendly, but not all are wheelchair-accessible.
